On my first day of seminary I was invited by a professor to consider “who loved you to this place.” This statement has stayed with me. It reminds me that none of us succeed or fail alone, we support one another in love and this makes all the difference.
I acknowledge the love and support of Mark Runquist, my long-suffering spouse. He was of great help putting together this packet. He served as my technology guy, my sounding board, my editor, and most trusted gentle critic.
I am grateful to my teaching congregation, my colleagues, my ministers past and present, my home congregation, my children and my friends. I am indeed loved to this place.
